Carla Woods Duffy has extensive experience developing talent and presentation skills for actors and pageant contestants. Miss Carla was a franchised talent agent representing clients for theatre, film and television at the prestigious Krasney Office on Times Square in New York City for ten years. She is a founding member of the Monroe's Children's Theatre in Monroe LA where she acted and stage managed numerous productions. She helped create and produce the Cottonland Christmas Spectacular, a yearly community fund raiser for city programs and the Strauss Theatre also in Monroe. She is a graduate of "Three Of Us Studios" in NYC where she studied commercial acting, then went on to do commercial and industrial film acting. She has had years of experience in the pageant world including judging on the state level for the Miss America system, America's Jr. Miss and various other local pageants in NYC, Georgia and Connecticut. Miss Carla's daughter, Sarah Jane Nelson, was America's Miss Teen 1994 and went on to be a Broadway and television actress. |
